Developed during the Global Games Jam 2022, Cutting Costs is a local coop game developed by a team of five. Players serve two roles in a supply/demand chain; with the theme of this year being Duality, the team was able to design an experience in which both players are in a different setting entirely.

One player delves into a dungeon, fighting bosses and collecting loot to be sent up to their surface partner. This second player manages a shop that sells this loot to the townsfolk, using their earnings and crafting skills to improve the abilities and equipment of the dungeoneer.

The project currently doesn't have a download available, however there is an improved version with more balance to gameplay and quality of life elements in production.
